Description

Oak Cottage is a late 18th or early 19th century cottage. The front is of painted brick with a brick eaves cornice. It has a double-span roof covered in old tiles, with end chimneys. The cottage is two storeys high with three windows, including a blank central window. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars; the lower windows have cambered head linings and plain shutters, while the upper windows have jalousies. A gabled porch centres the facade, with a door and a flat bracketed hood. The south facade features scalloped bargeboards and is weatherboarded. Oak Cottage forms a group with the former stables opposite.
