Description

Pennington House is an earlier to mid 19th-century building designed in an elaborate classical style. The exterior is rendered and features a balustraded parapet. It has two storeys with approximately ten windows, with the central five bays slightly advanced and the end bay higher, creating a low tower effect. The building has rusticated and vermiculated quoins surrounding the sash windows, which include glazing bars. The porch is flanked by double pilasters and has a cornice above. Pennington House, along with its stables and wall, forms a cohesive group.
