Description

Chequers Inn is an early 19th-century building with a painted brick facade and a hipped old tiled roof. It has two storeys and features two window sashes with flush frames and glazing bars. The entrance door is topped with a bracketed hood. An inn sign is mounted on a post beside the road. Chequers Inn, along with South Cottage, the adjoining cottage, and Woodside Farmhouse, forms a group of buildings of local interest.
