Description

Fox How is a house built in 1834 by Dr. Arnold of Rugby for his own use. After his death, Charlotte Brontë visited Mrs. Arnold here, and it also served as a holiday home for Matthew Arnold. The building is constructed of stone rubble with a slate roof and features round chimneys. It has two storeys and is designed in an L shape. The windows are made of wood with mullions and transoms, and they have labels above them. There are two small dormers on the roof, and a low addition now serves as the entrance.
