Description

The Olde House is an early 19th-century building with a likely 16th-century core, situated on Dunster High Street. It has a stucco exterior, a slate roof, brick stacks, and three gabled dormers. The building is two storeys high, with an attic space, and features three windows. The windows are sash windows with exposed frames and glazing bars, with paired sashes on the ground floor. A central, square-headed modern door is present, and a later tiled pentice is supported by brackets over the ground-floor windows and door. A coach archway is located on the right-hand side. The interior has been significantly altered, but a section of stud and plank screen remains as part of a hall partition.
