Description
The Goss chest tomb, located approximately 12 metres north of the aisle of the Church of St Andrew, is a Grade II listed structure dated 1705 in memory of Joseph Goss. It is made of granite ashlar and features plain sides with a thick lid crafted from a single slab that overlaps the edges, showcasing deep soffit-chamfered edges. The lid is inscribed with large Roman serif upper and lower case lettering, commemorating the death of Joseph Goss in 1705.
