Description
The barn at Uphill, located about 20 metres north-west of the house, is a structure that was formerly part of Lustleigh rectory. It likely dates from the 17th or 18th century, as indicated by the presence of a building in this location on the 1838 tithe map. The barn is constructed of granite rubble and features a corrugated-iron roof, with a hip that has been converted to a gable at the south-west end. It is a single-storey building that has undergone several reconstructions; notably, the rear wall is significantly thicker than the front wall and has been raised in height. This barn is included for its group value.
