Description

This headstone, located about 14 metres southeast of the porch of the Church of St James the Apostle, dates from the mid-18th century. It is made of stone and features a segmental arched head with scrolled corners. The headstone commemorates Elizabeth Lan, although the remainder of her name is illegible, and notes her death in 1749. A death's head is carved at the top of the headstone.
