Description

This is a 17th-century barn located approximately 7 metres north-east of St Olaves Cottage. It is constructed of granite stone rubble and has a corrugated asbestos roof, which was originally thatch. The barn has a small gable end and faces north-west. There is a large doorway to the left of centre, which has remnants of flanking midstrey walls, and it now features a 20th-century garage door. The right end wall has ventilation slits. Inside, the barn is open to the roof and has a 4-bay roof supported by much-repaired A-frame trusses with pegged lap-jointed collars. This barn is part of an attractive group of listed buildings in the hamlet.
