Description

Leigh Bridge is a road bridge over the River Teign, likely built in the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed from granite stone rubble and features rusticated ashlar voussoirs. The bridge has a single span with a plain segmental arch supported by vertical abutments. The parapet has a simple flat-topped coping and rises towards the center, following the humpback of the road. There are no terminal piers.
