Description
This is a barn and shippon located immediately to the south-east of Higher Willsworthy Farmhouse, dating from around the mid-19th century. The structure features granite rubble walls and a gable-ended corrugated iron roof. It has a rectangular plan, with the shippon on the ground floor and the barn above, spanning two storeys. The front is regular, with three doors leading to the shippon on the ground floor and two loading doors above the right-hand doors. Notably, below the eaves to the left, there is a small medieval stone trefoiled light, which is said to have originated from a nearby medieval chapel.
