Description

Two headstones located about 5 metres south of the church porch of St James the Apostle in Christow date from the late 18th century. The northern headstone is taller, featuring canted corners and an angel carved at the top. Its inscription, although worn, commemorates Nathan Home, who died in 1753, though the surname is not entirely legible. The southern headstone has a scrolled head, but its inscription is illegible.
