Description

Moons Cross is a historic monument located in South Tawton, likely dating from the 15th century. It is constructed from granite ashlar and consists of the stump of a cross and a socket stone. The remains of the cross shaft are approximately 600 millimeters high and, although very weathered, it seems to have been octagonal in shape. The shaft is positioned on a square socket stone.
