Description
The cap of a chest tomb, dating from 1665 or earlier, is located in the churchyard of St Michael's, about half a meter north of the chancel. It is made of granite and features a flat top with a moulded edge on the west side, while the south side lacks this detail. The other two sides are buried. The top of the tomb has a carved inscription, partially enclosed by two incised lines, but the name of the person buried is not legible. The date 1665 is carved at the western end of the center panel, which may indicate the date of the original burial or a later death in the same family.
