Description
This small chest tomb, dating from 1759, is located in the churchyard of St. Michael's, about 9 metres south of the south-west corner of the south transept. It is made of granite and consists of a small, roughly squared block of stone topped with a much larger chamfered capstone. The capstone has a flat top with a largely illegible carved inscription, which includes the date and the words "may not be removed." This tomb is in reference to a headstone from 1677, which is listed separately and located 8 metres south-west of the church porch.
