Description
New Hall is a detached farmhouse built in the 18th century. It is constructed of Flemish bond brick and has a concrete pantile roof with brick stacks. The building has a rectangular plan and stands three stories tall, featuring a five-windowed facade. The ground and first floors have 12-pane sash windows, while the second floor has 6-pane sash windows, all with flat-arched heads. The central door consists of two fielded panels at the bottom and four glazed panels above, set within a panelled recess. Above the door is a segmental shaped tympanum with radiating flat-chamfered jointing, topped by an open triangular pediment supported on console brackets. There are seven stone steps leading up to the front door, which is accompanied by a wreathed wrought iron handrail. The roof is parallel gabled with projecting gable-end stacks. The interior has not been inspected.
