Description
There are three unidentified monuments located in the churchyard, about 7 meters west of the center of the west end of the south aisle of the Church of St Mary. The group includes two headstones and a chest tomb. The chest tomb dates from the 17th century, while the headstones are from the early 18th century.
The left headstone is low with a cambered top and horizontal ends, featuring a projecting lip at the top and gathered drapery over two oval, swelling panels with a rococo edge. The taller headstone on the right has a similar top, adorned with swags, cherubs' heads, and an open book in the center, along with oval panels below, resembling those on the left. Behind these is the chest tomb, which is sunk into the ground and has a flat lid with a scalloped edge and ashlar sides, along with a sunk panel in the west end. The inscriptions on all the monuments are illegible.
