Description
No. 13 High Street is a house in a row, part of a pair built in the early 19th century. It features painted Flemish bond brickwork, a tile roof, and a brick stack. Although it was likely constructed as one half of a pair with No. 14, it is now incorporated with No. 12 to its left, which results in a noticeable break in the roof-line at the mid party wall. The roof runs parallel to the street and consists of two ranges with a central valley and a large central valley stack. The building has three storeys and one window. The windows are 16-pane sashes set within voussoirs and stone cills. The ground floor includes a plain square display window within a rendered surround, topped by a 20th-century fascia. Above the first floor, there is a three-course brick band and a plain fascia board at the eaves. The interior has not been inspected.
