Description

The William Tunnicliffe monument is a chest tomb located in the Abbey churchyard in Tewkesbury, approximately 20 meters southeast of the car park. It was created in 1799 and is made of sandstone. The tomb features a flat ledger with roll-moulded edges, raised panels on the long sides, and inset ends that include a frieze and base mould, all set on a moulded base. The monument is situated right next to the brick wall of Abbey Lodge.
