Description
Goldwell Farmhouse is an 18th-century farmhouse built from coursed, squared stone, featuring a stone slate roof at the front and a concrete tile roof at the rear. The building has a three-window, two-and-a-half-storey front that slopes down to a single-storey rear and is two rooms deep, all constructed as one unit. The front, which faces the garden, includes a plinth and double French doors accessed by one stone step, with a glass panel above, beaded arris, and a stone lintel. On either side of the doors are three-light mullion windows, with the right-hand window partly converted to a doorway and then back to a window. The first floor has similar windows at each end and a two-light window in the center. There are two hipped dormers with two-light casements and ashlar gable chimneys with moulded caps. The interior has not been inspected.
