Description

Hawkwood College is a building from 1845, constructed of ashlar stone with a pitched slate roof and hexagonal ashlar chimneys. It has two storeys and attics. The front features five ranges of mullioned windows with hoodmoulds and three gables, each with one mullioned window. There is a porch with a pointed arch, hoodmould, stiffleaf label stops, and diagonal buttresses. Remnants of an earlier house are visible, including a casement window at the rear, which is marked with the date 1755.
