5227 (East Side) Hawkwood College SO 80 NE 2/406 II 2. 1845. Ashlar. Pitched slate roof. Hexagonal ashlar chimneys. 2 storeys and attics. Front has 5 ranges of mullioned windows with hoodmoulds, and 3 gables with 1 mullioned window each. Porch with pointed arch, hoodmould, stiffleaf label stops, and diagonal buttresses. Remnants of an earlier house include casement window at rear, with 1755 scratched on it.
