Description
The Weyman monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, approximately 2 meters south of the Church of St. Swithin. It dates back to 1666 and is made of limestone. The tomb is rectangular in shape and features round-headed arcading on all sides, except for a central raised inscription panel on the south side. Above the arcading, there is a complex moulding that runs beneath the thick cyma-moulded top, and it has a chamfered base. The south side is inscribed with the name John Weyman, who died in 1666.
