Description

This boundary post, dating from the 19th century, is made of iron and features a V-section design. It has raised sans-serif lettering on both sides and on the triangular top. The left face of the post reads "WHADDON," the right face reads "BROOKTHORPE," and the top displays "GHD," which stands for Gloucestershire Highways Department. The post is located on the former boundary between the parishes of Brookthorpe and Whaddon.
