Description

Beauchamp House is an early 18th-century farmhouse constructed of brick. The brickwork features Flemish bond below the windows, a slightly darker heading bond between the windows, and English bond in the porch. The building has a tiled roof and is two stories high with attics, designed in an 'L' shape, and includes a later single-storey extension at the angle. The front has five windows and a central two-storey gabled porch.

The front door has a bottom panel and a top half that is glazed, accompanied by an unusual side-light on the left that matches the door's pattern. An elliptical fanlight with intersecting glazing bars is positioned above the door, with a rubbed brick arch above it that cuts through a plain string course. The ground floor features four-pane sash windows with rubbed brick arches that interrupt the bottom course of the string course. The first-floor windows are normal sashes set slightly back in their boxes, with cambered brick arches above.

In the porch, the first-floor window has a semi-circular head with a rubbed brick arch that extends upwards to create a 'keystone.' The building is topped with plain gable chimneys that partly project from the structure. To the left, there is a short, later wing wall that breaks forward slightly, featuring an elliptically-headed opening with stone springers and a keystone, leading to a boarded door. Above this is a low-pitch gable with stone copings. The interior has not been inspected.
