Description
This is a chest tomb dedicated to William and Ann Wood, dating from the early 19th century. It is located in the churchyard about 1 metre east of the south-east corner of the chancel of the Church of Holy Trinity. The tomb is made of stone and features a weathered lid with a small, slightly raised rectangle in the center and square edges. The sides of the tomb taper downwards and have fluted corners, with sunk trapeziums on the sides and ends. The south side includes an inserted keystone with a curved soffit. It has a plain, rectangular plinth resting on a stone base.
