Description

The Loveridge Monument is a short chest tomb located in the churchyard, about 1 metre east of the chancel of the Church of Holy Trinity. It commemorates John Loveridge, who died in 1823. The tomb is made of stone and features a weathered lid with a moulded edge. The sides and ends have a raised oval design with plain edges, adorned with swags and pendants on the sides. The base is also moulded, and the inscription includes good lettering, some of which is italic, along with later inscriptions.
