Description

Pavement Cottage is a mid-19th century building that stands one and a half storeys tall. It is constructed of rubble and features a Cotswold stone roof. The cottage has a central ashlar chimney and two Cotswold dormers with light glazing bar casements. On the ground floor, there are two windows, which are three and four stone mullioned casements set in rebated surrounds. The door, which has a Tudor arch, is located off-centre to the right. This cottage is noted as a good early example of Cotswold Revival architecture and is included for its group value.
