Description

The K6 telephone kiosk, designed in 1935 by Giles Gilbert Scott, is located in the center of Upper Turkdean village. It is made of cast iron and has a square shape with a shallow domed roof. The sides and door feature margin glazing bars. Above the four arched sides, there is a canopy dome, and each side has an unperforated crown above a glazed panel inscribed with the word "TELEPHONE." This kiosk is situated in a good heritage location.
