Description
Overbrook is a building dating from around 1650 to 1700, likely originally two cottages that have been combined into one. It is constructed of rubble with Cotswold stone roofs and has a T-plan layout featuring a large, stunted T-plan chimney at the junction. The building stands two storeys high, with some parts having attics.
The east front includes a one-and-a-half-storey, three-bay wing on the left, which has gabled half-dormers, and a gabled 2½ storey break to the right. There is a short gabled wing to the north that has a scullery lean-to; this wing features a mid-19th century two-light lancet opening.
On the west front, there is a gabled block on the left (north) side with a modern porch, and a three-bay block to the right. The latter has gabled half-dormers and three-light mullioned windows with drips on the ground floor, along with a large modern buttress supporting this wing.
