Description

Church House is possibly a former mill, dating in appearance to the 17th century. The building is constructed of rubble with a Cotswold stone roof, coped verges, and ashlar chimneys. It comprises an earlier block to the west and a wing to the south. The house has two storeys, an attic, and a basement. The west elevation features two-light mullioned windows set within rebated surrounds. Similar 19th-century windows, incorporating transoms, are present on the south elevation, which has a window arrangement of 1:1:2. A blocked doorway is situated to the right of the south side. Access to the property is currently via modern extensions on the east side.
