Description
The former stable, dating from the late 17th century, is located to the west of Grevel's House and features a wall that links it to the house. In the 20th century, the ground floor was converted into a garage. The building is two storeys high and constructed of rubble with a Cotswold stone roof. It has a two-light mullion window on the east gable and a small light below the eaves on the north side. The west gable includes steps leading to a door for the upper floor. The linking rubble wall with Grevel's House is approximately 6 feet high and 5 yards long, and it contains an imported moulded niche that now holds a medieval corbel.
