Description
The Clarence Lamp is a lamp post located at the junction with Imperial Circus in Cheltenham, dating from around 1900. It was created by George Smith of the Sun Foundry in Glasgow. The lamp post is made of cast and wrought iron, featuring a moulded and fluted base and plinth. The shaft is topped with a circular lamp supported by two stems, which include decorative elements.
