Description
The well-head, located approximately 130 metres west of Blegberry Farmhouse, is a Grade II listed structure dated 1657. It features stone rubble walls and a gabled stone corbelled roof, which is supported internally by flat lintels. This small rectangular building has a square-headed doorway on the front gable wall, above which is a small square niche. The gable also displays a stone inscription reading "1657 WA," which signifies William Atkyns.
