Description
10 and 11 Allhalland Street are early 19th century houses and shops, possibly built on an earlier structure that was raised in height. The front is solidly rendered, with some slate-hanging on the exposed upper part of the right gable wall, and the building has a slate roof. It stands three storeys tall and features a four-window range. The left-hand window has three lights, while the others have two lights. The ground floor contains three well-preserved late 19th century shop fronts, each with two-paned display windows and entablatures supported by carved consoles. The upper storeys have raised quoins at the left-hand end, and the left-hand third-storey window also features raised quoins and voussoirs. All except the three right-hand third-storey windows have 19th century two-paned wood casements in box-frames, and there is a boxed eaves cornice. The interior has not been inspected.
