Description
This is an anonymous headstone located approximately 4 metres southeast of the chancel of the Church of St Giles. It dates from the early 18th century and is made of granite. The upright slab stands about 250 millimetres high and features a shaped head that is carved with a skull and an hourglass. The inscription is presented in Roman serif upper and lower case lettering, but it does not include a name or date, only a poetic epitaph.
