The Brinsmead chest tomb, located approximately 14 metres south of the chancel of the Church of St Giles, is a Grade II listed structure dated 1884. It commemorates Thomas and Emily Brinsmead and is made of granite. The tomb is a plain rectangular block without adornments, featuring plain lead letters on its long sides. The south side notes the death of Emily Brinsmead in 1883, while the north side records the death of Thomas Brinsmead in 1884.
