Description
The Collings and Rendall monuments are two headstones located in the churchyard approximately 6 and 8 meters southeast of the south porch of the Church of St George. These headstones date from the early 18th century and are made of slate. Both are square in shape and feature scribed decorations, with pilasters and moulded cornices flanking the inscriptions. The headstone commemorating Margaret Collings, who died in 1738, is adorned with an hourglass, crossed bones, and lovers' hearts at the top. The headstone for James Rendall, who died in 1733, features flowers flanking a skull and crossbones at the top.
