Description

Roberts headstone, dated 1750, is located approximately 9 metres south of the chancel of the Church of St Giles in the Wood. This headstone is made of slate and features an upright square-headed slab. The top of the headstone is carved with a skull, which is flanked by scrolled decoration. The inscription is in Roman serif upper and lower case lettering, commemorating the death of David Roberts in 1750.
