Description

This is a house, likely dating from the early 19th century, and later altered in the mid-19th century. It is now used as offices. The front of the building is solid and rendered, with a slate roof and a red brick chimney on the left gable end. The house is two storeys high with a basement, and has a five-window front.

The ground floor features a round-arched doorway in the centre, approached by two slate steps. Fluted pilasters flank the doorway, supporting an entablature with a bracketed cornice; the pilasters have been altered at the bottom, and one capital is missing. The doorway has panelled double doors, with flush bottom panels and matching reveals, and a cobweb fanlight above. All other windows have shaped cement surrounds. A second doorway is located at the right-hand end of the front, with panelled double doors and a three-paned fanlight. The windows are mostly 6-paned sashes, with the windows to the left of the ground floor being paired. There are two basement windows, protected by iron grilles, with six panes to the left and three to the right. Raised quoins flank the whole front. A boxed eaves cornice runs along the top.

The interior has not been inspected. According to a 1973 listing description, the building was formerly a Wesleyan Chapel.
