Description

Manor House was built by 1811 and altered in the mid-19th century. It is a two-storey building with a stucco exterior and a hipped slate roof. The façade features five vertical windows and a round-headed porch at the main entrance. The ground floor includes a long hood that forms a verandah without supports, along with a French window on this side. There is also a Victorian wooden and glass verandah on the right side. Inside, the house has an early 19th-century staircase with cast iron balusters featuring an Anthemion motif and a gallery landing. The doorcases are decorated with cornices, architraves with paterae, and incised glyphs. Currently, the building is used as offices by Dawlish Town Council.
