Description
The Hoare Vaults, located in the churchyard of St Gregory, were designed by architect George Gilbert Scott around 1865. This roofless structure serves as an elaborate family vault for the Hoare family of Luscombe Castle. It is constructed from red and yellow sandstone and features triple trefoliated arched openings, with three openings on one side and four on the other. The remaining two walls are also made of stone.
