Description

The Bridge is a late 18th century to early 19th century structure that carries the drive from Haldon House to Lawrence Castle. It features a single span with an elliptical arch, brecchia arch rings, and stone rubble parapets, with some brick on the underside of the arch. The bridge is believed to have been constructed for a visit by George III to Haldon House, creating a carriageway to Lawrence Castle. There was a repair made in the late 20th century.
