Description

A tower house, likely dating to around 1795, stands within the grounds of Stonehanger. The building is constructed of stone and rises two storeys. Its shape is approximately trapezoidal, with a curved south-facing facade. It features modern four-light casement windows with leaded glass and flat rendered lintels on both floors. A horizontal floor band runs around the building. It is probable that the tower was originally topped with castellations, though these have since been removed.
