Description

This is a row of three houses, numbered 1 to 3, located on Eastern Backway, dating from the 18th or early 19th century. The houses are built of narrow, locally sourced stone, laid in courses. They feature near-flush frame sash windows with glazing bars, and entrances sheltered by small canopies supported on iron brackets. These houses form a group with numbers 20 to 26 (even) on Duncombe Street, and occupy an important position facing Duncombe Park.
