Description

Waterloo Place is an early 19th-century terrace of two-storey houses, slightly stepped up towards the east. Each house features three near-flush frame sash windows on the first floor, with Nos 1 and 2 retaining their glazing bars. The first floor has a rendered band, and the eaves soffit is rather wide. The roofs are slate, and each house has a central entrance with a six-panel door, although No 4 has an altered entrance. No 1 has ground floor casements. The front gardens are lawned and enclosed by a low stone wall with wrought iron spear railings and urns on the standards. Nos 1 to 4 form a group with Nos 7 to 9 on Belle Vue Road.
