Description

This is a road bridge over the stream known as The Gara, located immediately north of Higher North Mill. It was likely built in the early 19th century and is constructed of slate rubble. The bridge features two small spans with slate round arches and a small cutwater that rises into a parapet. The parapet is topped with pitched slate capping and has vertical lacing slates.
