Description
This is a 16th-century barn located approximately 50 meters south-south-west of Slade. It is constructed from granite rubble with granite dressings and features a steeply pitched roof with gabled ends, which is clad in asbestos sheeting. The barn has a prominent gabled cart entrance at the center, featuring a granite double-chamfered elliptical arched doorway with old studded plank doors. Above this entrance, there is a hollow-chamfered granite 2-light window in the gable. Granite ventilation slits are present on either side and in the west gable end. The east end of the barn has a later cart entrance. Inside, the roof trusses have all been replaced.
