Description

This is a medieval cross located about 9 metres south of the chancel of the Church of St David in Ashprington. It is made of granite and features a square base and a short section of an octagonal shaft with indeterminate stops. The cross is believed to have been relocated from the village centre, where its base is now used as the foundation for the War Memorial.
