Description
This footbridge, located about 440 metres south of Bramble Torre, was built in the early to mid 19th century. It spans a stream and is constructed from slate rubble, featuring an arch ring made of dressed local limestone. The bridge has a small single span with a round arch and parapets that splay out over the abutments. Additionally, there is a very small arch through the west abutment that channels water to a disused mill pool. The roadway just south of the footbridge was once a ford, which was filled in, likely during the 1960s.
