Description

Dart Vale House is an early 19th-century rebuilding of a house that likely originated in the later 17th or earlier 18th century. It is a three-storey building with two windows paired on the front. The roof is covered with Welsh slate and has a red brick stack. The front is timber-framed, with a jettied first floor. The first and second floors are slate-hung, while the ground floor is plastered. A wooden boxed-out eaves cornice runs around the building. The windows are flush-framed sash windows with glazing bars, although a modern shop window has been inserted. A shop doorway is present, featuring a rectangular fanlight.
